How long will it take you to make my products?
We are a family run business, and receive many orders every day. As such, we estimate your order will be dispatched 3-6 weeks after it has been placed.
How can I order item(s) for a rescue?
You can order items to be sent directly to the rescue of your choice here, receiving 25% off the usual price, and free shipping for all US rescues!
Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by paypal, google checkout, personal check or money order. All of these methods have been integrated into our ordering system, so you can opt to use any when ordering from our shop.
Can you order in a fabric especially for me?
We are happy to order in fabrics from Joann, Fabric.com and Hancock Fabrics for you, but you will need to contact me, and there will be a charge for using this service.
I already have a nice fabric that I want turned into some lovely pet accessories, do you offer this service?
Yes, please contact me to discuss pricing, which will depend on whether you have all of the fabrics, or just a cotton or fleece fabric you wish me to use.
Can I request something I cant find on the site?
Yes, please do contact me regarding your desired product, and pricing. It may be possible for us to design something especially for you!
What shipping methods do you use?
For shipping within the US, we use UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail depending on the weight of your order. For international orders, we use USPS Priority Mail. Both methods take approximately 2-5 days to reach their destination within the US.
International Shipments. International shipments are sent out via USPS priority mail International. Please allow extra time for these packages to arrive. All packages being shipped internationally are subject to being checked by International customs which can cause further delays. I have no control over this but assure you that all customs forms are filled out accurately. Customs fees do apply in most Countries. I have no way of knowing what the fees will be so please check with your local customs office before ordering. You will be responsible for any and all customs fees.
How do I care for my products?
Cage liners
*All fabrics are pre-washed one time before being sewn. Liners can be used right out of the box.
*I recommend sweeping up poos and other debris daily - mini brooms/dust pans can be found
on the cage liner page for purchase.
*Wash
your liners every 3-5 days depending on the size of your cage &
number of animals within the cage. You will have to see what works best
for your situation.
*Machine wash on normal setting. Any temperature is fine.
*Wash with a detergent that does not contain fabric softener.
*A small amount of vinegar (1/4c - 1/2c) can be added to the rinse cycle to reduce odor
*Dry normal
*Do not use dryer sheets as they actually cause the urine to pool on the liners rather than absorb
into them.
*As long as proper cleaning takes place, you will not experience an odor problem with liners.
*All
fleece is unique and can take several washings before properly wicking
away the urine. The more you wash the liners, they better they will
work!
All Other Products
*If you have purchased products that come with hooks, be sure to remove them before washing.
*Wash
products as needed. Corner Cabins and Double Corner Cabins will not
need to be washed as frequently as other items as they do not have an
attached bottom (great for those without washers and dryers in their
homes).
*All products can be washed on normal cycles in any temperature of water (we use cold or warm).
*Wash with a detergent that does not contain fabric softener.
*A small amount of vinegar can be added to the rinse cycle to reduce odor.
*Dry on low to medium heat.
*Do not use dryer sheets.
